The Power of Chinese Medicine

Is it cold and wet outside?  Do you over-work, over-worry or over-eat?  We all do!

According to Chinese Medicine, there are many factors that disrupt digestion and lots of symptoms we don’t even associate as a disorder with the digestive system.  For example, weak muscles, weight gain, mucus, food allergies, cloudy thinking, chronic fatigue, low immune function and menstrual complaints.

If you experience any of these or the “normal” GI problems, please schedule with me for some relief.  My best advice for folks with digestive complaints is to start by eating cooked foods and room temperature drinks. This will assist the “rotting & ripening” function of our center according to Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Portland-based acupuncturist and owner of Maxxed Out Acupuncture knows the magic of the needle. The teeny, tiny needle. The needle he once feared. Although you will not find him swaddled in linen, om-ing on a meditation cushion, you will find him chewing his food, enjoying a morning minus an iPhone and taking a mindful breath.

Having felt and lived the need for a new way of doing life, Cody helps his patients do the same. He specializes in assisting the people who think acupuncture is only for the kombucha brewing, chicken rearing, kale growing folk. Not true. It’s for anybody who has not taken a deep breath since ‘87, who wakes up to email for breakfast and who has a self-regenerating to-do list.

CODY PAYS ATTENTION TO THE SMALLEST OF DETAILS TO CURATE CUSTOMIZED TREATMENT PROTOCOLS TO ADDRESS THE AILMENTS THAT ARE SUCKING THE LIFE OUT OF YOUR LIFE.
