How To Tip: Hormone Balancing

Herbs such as Chaste Tree Berry and Dong Quai are known for their ability to bring hormonal balance. But there’s another star player in creating hormonal equilibrium. Fiber! When you eat more soluble fiber (think apples, mangos, berries, dark leafy greens, broccoli and sweet potatoes), your liver is better able to metabolize – and more importantly – excrete cholesterol based hormones such as estrogen from the body. If estrogen is properly eliminated from the body, other key hormones (progesterone and testosterone) also become more balanced.

So, eat an apple a day and keep your hormones at bay!
