Reiki is a Japanese technique for promoting healing and relaxation. It is a non-invasive and gentle technique that is administered by the “laying of the hands” of the practitioner. Reiki provides many benefits such as relaxation, stress reduction, pain-relief and restoring balance to the body, mind and spirit. Reiki removes negative thoughts or energy and aids in healing past/current emotional and physical trauma. Reiki is extremely beneficial to those suffering from anxiety, depression and PTSD. Aromatherapy may be incorporated to promote relaxation.
This group Reiki energy healing is FREE and open to the public. This class is open to Reikihealers and those who are new to Reiki. All are welcome to receive healing and aid in helping to heal the community. If you don’t have experience with the healing arts but wish to receive healing, you are more than welcome to join us to learn and experience Reiki. This is an open and safe space to all (POC and LGBTQ+ friendly).
Suggested donation $5 and up. A percentage of the proceeds from this event will go toward a Charity of the Month!

Why support this cause?
“The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons.”
Ebonee is an esthetician, makeup artist and Reiki energy healer based in Portland, OR. After receiving her Bachelors degree from Linfield College, her esthetics license from Marinello Schools of Beauty and her diploma from the Vancouver Film School, she has worked in the beauty and wellness industries for over five years. She has provided beauty services in the treatment room, on-location weddings and on set for photo shoots and TV/film productions around the state of Oregon. Due to the lack of diversity in the beauty industry, Ebonee is passionate about giving back to the community by sharing her knowledge of skin care and natural ingredients to the public, especially to marginalized communities. Ebonee strives to create safe spaces and make beauty education and wellness easily accessible for these communities by teaching affordable skin care classes and hosting free group Reiki events at The Herb Shoppe to heal the community.
