Culinary Recipes with Chef Nige: Lemonbalm Chillout Iced Tea

Lemonbalm Chillout Iced Tea with Fresh Herbs!

Ingredients: 2 quarts water 1 cup Lemonbalm Chillout tea (or 1oz by weight) 2 Tablespoons raw honey (sub agave for vegan) *2 lemons sliced into rings *handful of fresh mint *optional Yield: This recipe makes 2 quarts of iced tea Method: Bring your water to a boil. Turn off heat. Pour in Lemonbalm Chillout, stir and cover. Allow tea to steep for 15 minutes or so. Once cooled enough to handle, place strainer over a heat safe pitcher or large jar and strain tea. Add liquid sweetener of choice and chill. Once chilled, add your sliced lemons and fresh mint if using. Add fresh ice cubes and serve!! *Options! -Mix it up! Muddle in some strawberries! -Add in some fresh slices of ginger! -make tea ahead of time and add goodies in just before serving
