Charcoal and Tea Tree Face Wash Recipe

Charcoal has powerful detoxifying effects. This is due to its magnetizing effect on toxins, making it a powerhouse ingredient. Charcoal and tea tree work together to fight problematic skin. Charcoal will draw out toxins as tea tree will fight bacterial growth. Kaolin clay and castor oil work to emulsify the charcoal and the soap, in turn, creating a generous soft lather. This face wash will clear your skin and reduce the appearance of blackheads. Definitely a great recipe to keep in your back pocket!

-1 oz bottle (I prefer droppers or pumps which you can buy in our shop)

-40 ml beaker or ½ cup mixing bowl

-Measuring spoons

-2 tsps of kaolin clay

-¼ tsp activated charcoal

-About 2 tablespoons of liquid castile soap

-½ tsp castor oil

-10 drops tea tree oil

  1. Combine powders
  2. Add in the liquids
  3. Stir
  4. Pour into 1 oz bottle
  5. Use daily! *

*Make sure face is damp to be able to work up a good lather.
